The bearing on my centrifugal pump seized up so our repairers need to get a few parts. Problem is that I can't find a manufacturer's name on it.
Can anyone help by identifying it.

The pump is in an Accelerated Predator we bought about 12 years ago.

Thanks for any info

Replacement pumps matching your picture are still shown on Accelerated's site - Have you tried calling Duane Oxley over there?

Tom, roller pumps are usually very poor choices for pumpouts because they can't handle solids very well. they are designed for a purely liquid diet. Diaphragm and centrifugal pumps are usually chosen instead.

Many thanks for that guys. It certainly looks like that is it. I am just waiting on Duane to confirm.
They are certainly a great pump as this will be the first time we have ever had to do any work on it.

Where possible Dan we prefer to repair rather than replace as I guess my generation isn't part of the throw-away society.
Sourcing parts can sometimes be a problem for us here as we are about a 13 hours flight from LA.

Cheers

Do not buy the Grainger units... from what I have heard they changed suppliers and will not perform

Also, I would plan on buying a new pulley, save your self some aggravation. (you might damage it even with a puller)

How has the pump performed for you over the years?
Any over flows?

I can appreciate that, I'm normally exactly the same way - just ask my wife about the washing machine I kept going for many years! Poor woman.... Anyway if you only buy the shaft/bearing assembly, shaft seal and gasket - the bare minimum you would need - you're already at 80% of the cost of the whole pump, and that's assuming you can get away with reusing the old impeller. Add to that the correct procedure of complete disassembly, bead blasting and painting and even I would opt for a new pump....
