Cool Cuffs...should I get the swivel or latch ones? How many swivel cuffs does one need and where?

What cuffs do you feel are best and have the least vacuum leak.

I have a prochem ledgend and want to preserve as much vacuum as possible.
I live in sunny south florida. It's seldom below 60.
Thanks for any help.
I've searched on here but posts go off track quickly.

I've never tried cool cuffs so can't comment on them. I upgraded from standard cuffs to flash cuffs a few years ago. Yes they have air leakage but I still feel that I have better air flow.

I have cool cuffs swivel. Also with a Legend.

They don't leak normally. If you hang them from the second floor and you have the whole weight pulling them, you will get a small leak.

Yes, I did notice a small increase in vacuum over vinyl cuffs. I still have a vinyl cuff on the end of my lead hose.

Cool cuffs are the best. I have some swivel and some locking.

The locking with a good latch will just last and last and last.

The swivel version for solo guys is nice, as by the name it swivels and is easier to get kinks out or just never get them in the first place.

Order a couple extra of both you can’t go wrong with either.

I'd be using cool cuffs if he made a convenient reducer to go from 2.5-2 inch. My first 100 ft is 2 inch but then I go to 2.5.

He has a pound in Barb that goes into the 2.5 inch and a 2 inch male screws on that pound in barb....

Been using them for years now....

I have it, but... I need to be able to connect my 2 inch to the 2.5 starter at the machine when I only need my 100 ft of 2 inch. With flash cuffs I can do this. Cool cuffs I cant.

I made an adaptor from the Pound in 2.5 reducer...we just insert it into the 2.5 inch and of course then it is down to 2 inch....we just carry that in the van right below that area of hook up

I have a mix of Joe's and John's 1st generation swivels. Both have acme threads.

Next year I will replace all of them with whatever seems best at that point. John's 2nd generation soft cuffs are definitely out.
