The BALLS of a PW unit lies in it's GPM output, not psi.

Price difference can be 1000+ for each additional GPM output over 4 for a good unit.

Wonder what it puts out?

Can't see the pump on it.
gotta a bigazz water tank though...that's for sure

a friend is in the biz..been doing it full time 10-12 years now.
Started with a big TM'd unit he put in a trailer with 150gal fresh water tank
Went to a box truck a couple years later

He just bought a new unit a couple weeks ago...$16K

The physical size of it (and the other TM pressure washers he had) is mostly the heater .
It's pretty much identical to the heater on Steamway Powermatcs (Wayne fuel burner head like in home heating systems) the biggest difference is the fire box the water HX'r tubes are in ....it;s fooking HUGE...I'd guestimate it's 2.5ft in diameter and 4+ ft long
In contrast, mine's maybe 18" dia and 2ft long and uses .9 GPH jet/nozzle ..it's rated at 200 degrees @ 2gpm continuous sustained

No clue what jet/nozzle is in his..but it's gotta spray a lot of fuel to flame that HX'r...2 GPH or more, I'd bet.

His pump's a big General ...8 GPM @ 4000psi...he'll run a couple guns , but manufacture claims up to 4 guns can be run

His first unit was 25HP Kohler driven and had the same big General pump..
The unit he bought last month is powered by a water cooled diesel Kobota

if you've never seen a good TM pressure washer, they're pretty kosh set ups
Several lines w/valves running to different headpacks for different chem draw (acid , alkaline or specialty juices, i reckon)

this is the newest rage in town. Huge pressure washer rigs. 2nd company to go this big. 4 guys on this truck. I'm gonna hang my garden hose reel off the bottom like he does. I've got the room and the stainless reel.

all good until a hose comes loose and gets drug behind the vehicle and gets caught on something, or your tire runs it over and rips the reel off your vehicle.

You'd have to have a oil/water separator for recovery to do commercial work here.... Homeowners don't.... Hell, homeowners can throw asbestos in there trash and get away with it......

Don't have to recover their waste water in FL? Recover just about nuked the pressure wash industry here. There used to be a big outfit that used a semi that looked like a soda deliver truck. They ran 5-6 setups off it and did anything of size here. Recovery dropped the number of guys in that business. You have a hard time finding anyone doing range hoods since they have to recover the waster water.

They were bleaching the roof and don't have to catch anything. The smell from across the street almost knocked me down. I've already mounted the aero tech spool underneath. It has a spool lock plus I lock the hose.
