Corral your Duks (and other corner Guards)

Saw this with Mikey's new Aero Tech for holding his corner guards.

Ours were always getting away from us in the van, so thought....Let's make something up.

We had some space in back of one of our shelves in our extended Butlers (we were keeping them on the floor there) so we made up a similar bracket.

2 inch wide strap we made out of some diamond plate aluminum we had in the shop.

25 inches long (for us to fit the shelf)

2 inch bend on each end for mounting hole (leg)

bend in middle

15 inch spread to fit the guards in (seemed to be the magic measurement for us....TEST for yourselves)

Room for more Duk Guards or others.....

We are going to clean up the uneven edge also....just hung it up late afternoon yesterday....

We have been out using the vans today and with the corner guard holders, and so far it seems like the placement for us on the Butler extended vans is working well at this time. There are other places they could be mounted too, but this is just easy for us to get to them and also return them to their spot.

Thanks Bryan. It was the wife's idea. In matter a fact, the whole guard was her idea. The guard, the way it works, the color, and the name.
