They built the doorway over top the carpet and never removed the transition piece under the new wall.
And, the rug isn't centered in the doorway.
And the grout is filthy!!

They scabbed in molding bits.
The wallboard doesn't look like it was taped properly.
The vertical door trim is not deep enough to cover the ends of the base, or the base used in the building is too thick.
I don't know if the grout is dirty or just Stanley-quality color seal.

2" inch section of baseboard on the right side, at 80 cents a foot, cut a new full width piece, Tony....
oh and the orange line is where the carpet and trim should end.

I don't remember seeing it, but way back they were planning to remodel in phases. Looked like a good plan. but at the time they had a volunteer driving over from Cali to manage the changes, a pretty big ask.
Maybe volunteers did this modification, so it turned out like the color seal.

Too typical low build quality. You're supposed to see the metal roof and not look to closely at the cheap stuff above. The entry may have a nice floor but further in will be matching laminate. Nice looking faucets made out of plastic.
First time buyers don't have the experience yet to see how much work the house will need in the next five years.

Look also at the face stone on the first floor. It was just stuck right on top of existing brick.
All I see is the customer seeing you taking a picture.
