coupler size?

My 20:36 TM runs a #7 lovejoy

I've got a 45 blower that I'm looking to swap in just b'cos..

It has a coupler housing with it that takes a #8, any reason why I should use the #8 setup over the #7s? (I have a couple #7s sitting spare on my shelf no #8s)

I was looking at the output side of the 20hp didn't consider where its being tranferred to
