custy complaint

I had a custy make a complaint after I cleaned her area rugs that the rug would not lay flat when I brought it back. I told her because it was rolled up in plastic for a day or so it would take a day or two to flatten out. is there anything I can do to help the rug lay flat?

Flip the rug over, roll it up tightly, and then unroll it right side up.

It also depends on what type of rug.. if it was an older afghan, it could have buckled and they become very difficult to block back out again. Even some machine made crosswoven belgiums will give you a huge fight to lay flat. If you can catch it early and can identify that type of rug before it causes a problem you can be proactive instead of reactive.
