Saiger free and clear that is. I don’t think carpet cleaning has ever been this easy.

knocked out some pretty dirty carpet with the code red, it cleans pretty well. Definitely a good product. Im not sure it cleans better than grease eraser or slop/gobble but definitely right on par with most powerful pre sprays.

We used it on a poly carpet that was pretty dirty and it wiped the traffic lanes well. Also randomly ended up using it on a really really hammered Sisel carpet. We would normally pass on Sisel since encap tends to suck on it, and your technically not even supposed to get it wet but this carpet was 20yrs in a large construction companies office area and absolutely hammered. The owner and us agreed the carpet is so bad at some point you have to somehow clean it, they never in 20yrs were able to get a company who would agree to clean it.

It actually came out great with code red, lots of dry passes and lots of air movers.

The blue saigers we are going to have to sell or give away. This is just honest feedback and not meant to bash.... but a carpet cleaning solution should smell like something you would want to wash your clothes with, a nice scent that smells fresh. The problem is the blue smells exactly like Comet or Lysol toilet bowl cleaner, we had 2 customers in a week that were not impressed with the smell so its gotta go. The second I start spraying it all it makes me think of is the pucks they put in urinals.

if it was reformulated with a scent that is more in tune with fabric and not commercial bathrooms we would definitely buy in bulk as it cleans well and is a good product otherwise.

It is some good cleaning stuff. I don’t like to bring any smells into homes either. The free and clear only has a slight smell. Still debating if I want to make it my every day prespray .If it was completely odorless I would no doubt. I used to use Judson Juice years ago but customers would be running around opening windows because it smelled so strong. I normally stick to Procyon or Cobbs Powermax mixed very lightly.

Procyon is good stuff but ive heard there are a lot of fillers in it so it made me second guess it. It cleans relatively well, and better if you put a scoup or two of OSR or matrix miracle in with it.

I actually like a little bit of a smell, but Im tired of the same old orange smell every company uses so was looking for something as an alternative to bio break.

Bio break is still my top favorite pre spray at the moment.

One thing about fragrance, it is not about you, it is about pleasing your female customer who haves you in their house a few times a year. Whenever we have a new fragrance we take it around and make sure our female employees like it. Most nose dead cleaners ( I am included with this group and do not make fragrance decisions) generally like fragrances they can smell, which usually means the fragrance is too strong for their female customers. You want to make a good impression with a pleasant fragrance. Some cleaners leave too strong of a fragrance like they plan to move in with their customer. A good fragrance pleases for an evening and leaves the next day.

A little axe body wash goes a long way.

I heard that the all time favorite fragrance that women like is vanilla. Any thoughts on what the preferred scent is?

The best thing for any home excluding stinky homes is mild to little to no scent. Clean light or none at all is the best safest in any home. One may like it while another may hate it then another may have allergies and so on. Safest bet is a cleaning solution with next to Nothing scent.

And yes lots of cleaning chemicals have fillers in them. You want a product that quickly dissolves into rtu like in no time flat. Sadly only maybe two or three products in the market that I know of are highly concentrated, no fillers and dissolve super fast on the go and are great cleaners. The rest either take forever to dissolve and are junk or toxic for your health or all three.

I agree. So many people are sensitive these days. They don't want any smells or anything that remotely resembles a chemical smell. Procyon will clean 90% of the residentials I do. I do boost it with sodium percarbonate sometimes but it's also odor free.

a carpet cleaning solution should give a light fresh laundry scent. What do you want your clothes to smell like?

tile/grout chems are a different story that are used in bathrooms etc

So far I haven't found a prespray with a light pleasant smell. They either smell like rotten orange juice, a fruit basket or a patch of peppermint.

I use Saiger Blue on most work I do. The light lemon scent is good to me and regularly have customers tell me the carpet smells clean.
Dirty carpet like the one in the picture I would be using Saiger red. It's the blue but boosted with proxy and something to cut the oily dirt...has the same scent as free and clear I think.
Free and Clear is the blue without the added scent. It's not suppose to have a scent but it has a very slight clean smell that I really like.
I keep a jar of each on my van.

I almost like the smell of the Free and Clear. It cleans great. I might could get used to it. I just don't want any customers freaking out over the smell.

Get a CRB and scrub the pre-spray before you rinse it and it will be a life changing moment.

Mark, who is your western Canadian distribution? I want to try some of your products. When I find something that works well, I tend to stick to it. I also like to order by the pallet....
