Do we have a wiz here?

I have one Phoenix 200 that does come on and another one that isn't auto-pumping out. As soon as I hit the purge button the dehum kicks back on.

what phoenix 200?

how old is unit?

how many hours?

Have you cleaned out the coils and cleaned out the pump out with hoses?

really it sounds like somehting like a short. i dont think any of our phoenix 200 max have a level switch that would cut the machine off or not allow it to turn on.

i assume water doesnt come out when you hit the puge button?

We are talking about two dehus here. One doesn't come on. Another one runs until it gets full and then doesn't pump out on it's own. When I hit the button the compressor kicks on.

On the one that the water comes out the micro switch float that turns on the pump out take the front cover of the dehumidifier off and remove the pump out and test for operation and check hoses for obstructions.
