Picked up this wool rug on a wdr job, I'm pretty confident the browning will be straightforward to correct.

But the backing has delaminated like a saggy baggy elephant, approx 3 times the area thats browned out.

Are these relatively easy to open the backing and reapply latex?
Tips or tricks to keep in mind?

If the backing is loose it comes off easily. Often the latex is a low enough quality that it turns into clay/mud when wet and the backing can be taken off easily.

Work on the stain first, as often a color like that is wicking adhesive, which is not easy to remove.

Insurance company decided to replace

I worked on it and have removed the staining but delaminated the rest of the backing in the process :shifty:

I'll have a go at redoing the latex when I get a chance.. which means it will probably still be untouched in 6 months
