descaling a Vortex

Whats the best way to do this on a unit without a water box?

I installed a temporary water box...aka 5 gallon bucket...took the inlet water line to the pump off...installed a 3' chunk of 3/4" hose with a strainer filter on the end...then circulated the water via an open hose from output of the machine back to the temporary water box...where it was filtered prior to reentering the pump.- Jim

Do as Jim said, look for the water strainer coming out of your fresh tank. Should just be a hose clamp and extend to bucket.
