Have any of you guys ever done a fuel tap for a diesel truckmount? Ive done them for gas. It is done the same way? What type of pump should i use? Any tips would be appreciated. Its a generator being mounted under a ford f350 passenger bus. Basically a cutaway. Thanks

Why would it be any different?

Your still sucking liquid, if anything diesel is safer then gas right? So why wouldn't the same method work?

Well I know diesel engines cause problems if you run them out of fuel. I dont know why and I didnt know if that has anything to do with pessures in the lines/tank/etc. i didnt know if diesels also have intank fuel pumps or what. I Should be able to figure it out, I was just wondering if anyone had some input. Thanks guys.

Yeah if it runs out of fuel you have to prime it. I had to do that to my 7.3 F-250 once... it sucks, just don't run out of fuel.
