Direct mailings or flyers

Which do you think works best? Direct mailings are expensive..flyers cost time/money. Do you guys use postcards or just paper. My flyers have always been post card style, I just think they look better than paper. Opinion?

For my area, flyers do not seem to work. My wife said they should put a stamp on it if the offer was worth it!

Who are you targeting.

Indiscriminate shotgun marketing is one of the least effective ways to market.

Can you market to the friends of your existing clients and have them market for you?

Having a friend or someone your target already has a relationship with open the door for your business can increase your results.

Can you partner with other businesses for cross marketing or joint ventures?
