this is what mine looks like in the closed position

( closed off to the diverter and open to exhaust)

the rod coming out of the vacuum diaghram should be extended about two inches or more.

more or less..it kinda depends....If you start the truck up and it is exhausting out the tail pipe and you go put you hand over the exchanger and feel exhaust.....you can adjust the rod to help close the flapper tighter and not have any blow buy


and don't forget about that stupid breathing stone.....................

i dont think his diverter is the same as what yours is....... the hydro truck had a electric actuator and i think the housing looks a bit different.

post a pic so we can try to figure it out, i will look over the manual and look over the schematic.
