Today, I cut a finger while cleaning white furniture. Just a little poke from a zipper, but enough to cause bleeding, and it wouldn't stop. Had my Son take over for a while as I tried to locate a bandaid in the van. I'd hate to ask the custy for one. You carry a kit??

Yes. A nice one is not expensive. Swap it off the truck in two years or so and give the old one away.

And put an eye wash kit in it too. See, look what happened to my eyes...

Walmart has a nice first aid kit for like $10.00, everything you'll need. Gotta have it.

I think we are supposed to have a first aid kit and fire extinguisher on the truck per osha.

We found the most common injury for carpet techs was a burn or scald. So, we carried first aid kits that included products for burns. Maybe $30 instead of the $10 Walmart special deal. But we did keep a kit on each truck along with eye wash bottles.

Not that you are likely ever to have to prove that you carried them, but it is a legal regulation per OSHA.

Yes. After a few duct tape and part of a rag on a finger I just had to get one. Got the one with the burn gel in it at target for $17.00. You could always carry the super glue too. It's waterproof.
