I gotta admit, I'm glad I cover myself well. I have liability, equipment theft, and worker's comp. I'm off for the next couple of months, no probs got a decent tech that can handle the work. Worker's comp covers all my medical expenses, rehab, meds and pays $2500 a month. I used it once before 7 years ago with a compressed nerve in my neck. It wasn't perfect, but I got by. I had a slip and fall on a job site. I just handed it over to my insurance company and they took care of it- they denied the claim as signs were up in the elevator, I was working right by the area and some mumbo jumbo about due care. But I wasn't sweating because I was covered. It isn't free, but a wise investment as I could be ruined with a big judgement against me. Not only that, but a lot of property management companies demand to see your insurance as well as your workers comp info.A good chunk of my business is related to property management and you have to submit your info once a year.

Are you covered?
