In a thread earlier i ask if anyone checked the honesty of their techs.....you read of little old spinsters ladies embezzling lots of money so i suppose that a carpet cleaner may be capable as well...i use friends or customers that i have a great relationship to check 'em out once in a while...

I think it is a good idea Bob and though I have never done it intentionally I do get quite a few friends, assoc, bus contacts who use us without telling me and then I get feedback (thank god mostly all good).

A very good idea to this periodically. I have had problem employees twice in the past 12 years but haven't had employees (Except for my son Jay) in the past 10. Both got caught, both were exultant workers, both were previous employees (Left for a period of time and returned to be rehired) I trained them both, when they left they both left the area and worked for another cleaning co's that also loved them. Both returned with drug related problems..That we learned about to late. If I ever have employee's I will require drug testing or going through an employee supplier that has drug testing as well.
