Vipre is the way to go. Had Norton and Macafee ......Vipre is much better.

dont download but one. when you run a ton of virus scanners they bog your computer way down. ironically like a virus

it is compatable with norton

it said I have 488 errors, no virus, it fixed 100 of them, wants $29.95 to fix the rest

I had Microsoft Security Essentials. It worked good, until it let a virus in. Then a screen came on from Microsoft saying to download ThinkPoint to clean it up. Big mistake. Total shutdown.
Had to take it in last week, the serviceman said "You downloaded a virus?". Oh well, he reinstalled Windows on my 3 year old computer, wiping out everything for $99. Runs like new now. I installed the free Norton that Comcast offers. **** Microsoft Security Essentials.

Microsoft essentials works for me. Have it on all the pc's at home and at work for over a year and no problems.
