We regularly use the softer brushes to scrub rugs underwater.

With the harder brushes for tile and grout- I had done 2 trashed out CGD in the past two years.

Heavy prespray go over it with tile and grout brush and steamclean it. One got post padded with orbot...

So the answer is yes it could be done...very carefully with enough lubrication. And it does wonders on a crappy run down CGD.

I have used the brushes. Results seem the same.

I thought the brushes were the main way people used it anyway.

Brian, I would say prolly 90% of the cimexers are using pads that are very similar if not the same as your Agiclean from HOS. Of course, sized accordingly to fit the small heads.

Rick G has the beige and the harsher gray colored ones we use.

Sometimes I use the soft brushes for scrubbing some heavily soiled apartments (plush carpet) where I can take it up on an elevator. The bomb for scrubbing!!

I watched one of Steve Andrews videos where he cleaned a Oriental rug using the Cimex and the soft brushes. After seeing the video I purchased the brushes and it amazing the results we get. Once you agitated with the Cimex the soil is easily flushed out with little effort.

Thanks to Steve for showing me another use for the Cimex

use the stiff brushes on commercial from time to time. Easy to scrub and apply prespray while dual wanding when you don't want to pull a third solution to apply.

scrub with O2 and it will look like it is already clean before you extract it.

It sucks on tile and grout if the grout is not even with the tile which is most cases.

You have to apply too much product for even coverage to encap.

Okay, so.... ummm how do you "feed" the juice, with brushes?

Mist alone, cause the shower feed would just dump the juice in the middle, unless my thinking is wrong?

We've never shower fed with it but on rugs we use hydroforce using a moderate PH prespray and then agitate with the brushes.
