The RX20 that was set up to blow-dry the carpet? Was it Krazy Kenny that had that idea? The idea was to use hot blower exhaust and blow it to the RX via the vac hose. Has anyone ever tried this thing out, or got it running? I just couldn't see exhausting stinky-ass air from the blower back into the house.

I remember that idea, pretty sure it was old hairass himself.

I also had the same thoughts about the odor, but on the Kleenquip forum, he said that no-one would ever notice, or words to that effect.

Ooroo,

Robert;

The idea is still being refined.

350 CFM of 200° hot air injected into the carpet.

I built a TM version that uses the RV360i with some drying glides.

I think it drys carpet quite effectively.

Water Restoration is another good application.

Why not mount two lambs on the RX and dispense with the outside air, hoses, and TM?

Conversely similar to the Hydro X GTO option.

I think he had a valve that would take fresh air to the carpet instead of through his tank. I don't think it is worth the effort when you look at a few extra dry passes and an airpath though.

Larry....I'm sure the idea would work, but that blower air is still being drawn through the waste tank, and I've smelled a few waste tanks in my years.......

it doesn't draw through the tank. A valve changes the draw from the waste tank to "fresh" air.
