Thanks Gene. I think I'm over thinking it with using 4jets. I was going to use this.

very cool idea. i built mine way before the commercial version.
i never thought of adding more then one jet. the hole is so over sized its almost like a hose.

I sent a sketch to Hydramaster a few years back about an idea I had, thought they could build it. They didn't want to. Odd thing, the Hoser turned up about 6mths later almost identical, except that the guy didn't know how to place the jets. He put them on the inside. I bought one and modified it so the jets are flush with the pipe. Also, I would have used a natural 4" ABS fitting with a 2" elbow into which the 2" barb could have been easily fit without drilling.

Here's the mods.

All I need to do with this is open up the end holes and 2.5 will easily fit in. If I took the end caps off I could run 3" through it.

When I was cleaning a bunch of restaurants I would have killed for one of those when it was 1 am and I had a job at 9 am. Plus if it was raining I did not want to take the time to properly clean the hose anyways that late. I really would not worry about the vac hose being dirty as much as I would the solution line. That is why I now keep a line for residential and one for commercial work. The vac hose is less likely to cause problems than a hot dirty and greasy solution line.
