Does my Royal Vacuum need oiled?

I can't see a place where the oil can be applied.

It makes a much louder noise, has less power on the carpet (boggs down), and when I turn it off I hear a grinding noise as the motor stops spinning. I know there's a place to put oil on the older ones, and this one is almost 10years old.

Does it need oiled, or does it need trashed?

don't think oiling sealed bearings will help.
Brushes (copper motor contacts, not roll brush) are likely worn too

it needed trashed years ago...when everyone else moved into the 21rst century

It does my trashed, super nasty carpet. I'm not gonna put a nice vacuum on nasty, sand box carpet
