What would you want if you could design and build from scratch. For me reliability is foremost so I would want a direct drive with a van that wouldn't break down for hundreds of thousands of miles. At least a decade of hard use.I'm thinking a Lexus full sized van about the size of my Chevy Express so it just barely fits in my garage. Nice and luxurious with leather seats, sun roof, great audio. Too bad the Japs don't make a full sized van.
The machine would have dual #6 blowers with enough silencers to make them as quiet as the motor idiling. Two waste tanks so you'd have true dual wand capability. Heat exchangers hooked to the blowers, radiator and van engine exaust. 300 degree heat.
Silent and deadly.

I have my dream tm, but I don't have my dream truck.

Give me a 6.0L extended gmc savanna, low miles, for 15k or less and I will be living my dream.

I just spent the last two months designing it, from the 18,000 lb chassis, to the heavy duty box and equipment placement to weight distribution, only to be CRAPPED ON. NEVER believe something that sounds to good to be true, it rarely works out !!!!!!!!

I want a van I can stand up like a dodge sprinter. I don't want a cab over truck. I don't need a huge fresh water tank. 100-150 gallons is plenty and the sprinter can carry it. I want a dual wand machine that can keep up with two high flow wands/rotary extractors and keep 230 atm. I want it to be able to pressure wash too. Hose reels that holds 400' of hose.

The best one is the one that starts every time you turn the switch on.

All the rest is fluff!

That is important but not my dream TM. If that's the only thing then I have it, and I "WANT" something else....

Though slightly adjusted:

Dirty carpets are numberless, I vow to save them
Truck Mounts dreams are inexhaustible, I vow to end them
Happiness with what you have gates are boundless, I vow to enter them
The content carpet cleaner way is unsurpassable, I vow to become it.

Hope this helps. somewhat amus

Sorry to hear that Ron. I've been there in the "too good to be true" deals also.

I won't buy a box truck unless a pole barn with a 14' door comes with it...

I love the Butler Box truck, but I'd like one with a more powerful van.

I'd also like bigger and better vac hose reel.

Jim Martin's tricked out camera system so I don't smash up anything.

Seats like and the interior like Art suggested.

Through in a nice sound system to connect my Ipod and lap top to connect to MB!
