Dual wanding with an Apex

I'm trying to figure out what to do. This Spring I'm buying a new truck and an account is doubling in size. They are going to mirror the current floor plan so I'll be parking centrally and running 200' each direction. This is cut pile gluedown that we prevac, prescrub and hwe. They are classrooms, 8 on each side. Not much sq ft of carpet really, halls are vct. This is likely the only long run dual wanding I plan on doing. I know it won't be awesome, but is this doable with an Apex?

I can do the Everest I guess but I really want the much simpler Apex especially considering this is really the only dual wanding I plan to do.

Also, travel time is 75 min each way. I could take 2 trucks but idk.

Edit: we clean this account every 6 weeks.

I have a 2010 apex. 1700 hours. It's a great single wand machine but I'm not sure you would be happy dual wanding with it. With a nine flow zipper the temp on my apex is around 180 if your wide open.

Single wand is great. Dual just OK.
BTW. I'm selling that rig. 2011 e350 ext with 63000 miles. 2010 apex with 1700 hours. Apo 100 gallon fresh water. 25 grand.

I do not see you having a problem with the apex. I have a diesel and would run 2.5 to the hall and go from there. Do you use fans?

We certainly could use fans. Crazy vac isn't really needed in this app. Thinking of installing 2 250 vac reels in a transit with shelves above. 2 on one reel and 2.5 on the other.

Other than that, 150 is my typical hose run.

I run two wands on my truckmounts all the time, I can clean 30,000 sq. ft of carpet running my two truckmounts with two wands on each truck with two hose pullers in 8 hours. I just park one truck at one of the building and another truck at the other end. If the traffic areas look a little dingy when I am done I quickly go over it with an encap with a bonnet

I'm considering a small trailer just for hoses. We can grab it when we need to make a run. Park it wherever at the job too.

Funny thing is your 405 should have about the same cfm as the apex. And unless your Everest is the 650 the standard Everest has the same cfm as the apex also. Probably. More heat for the Everest.

I've dual wanded with a 405 125 ft and a 100 feet 2 quad wand 6 flow each. At 200 feet the vacuum really drops a lot. To have 2 hose runs 200 feet each is crazy.

Honestly you should setup 2 hose runs with your wands and clean your house tell us how it works out.

on my 405 I only run 2 100 feet hoses , If I have to run more I only use one wand , On my blue line I will run 2 150 feet hoses or just run one wand but the blue line has a # 5 blower also you can turn your hg's a little and run green glides on all the wands , that helps when the other wand is not on the floor . I run all the hoses all the way to the truck
