Our current favorite is the Shark Rotator series. Easy to use, headlights that really work, self adjusting height, long wand, quiet, easy to clean. About $100+or -.

VERY happy with them.

at that price, it's fine
Sam's Club has Shark Rotators on sale for $129 right now .
I'd buy two of those instead of one Dyson tho....

I get where you're coming from, Matt
But your vacs see com ....whole 'nother world compared to res and empties every day
you'd discover they "stink-out" before they wear out if you cleaned non-com for a living

The cheap plasti-vac uprights pick-up as much and more dry soil as the expensive "so called pro" uprights
so it's just stupit to spend big bucks on a vac when you can rotate NEW vacs into the van SO INEXPENSIVELY

and you you guys that actually do vac ....better have TWO vacs your truck.
Cause if I found out you brought into JONI'S home the same vac you used on Damon's empties, I'd kick you in the azz as I sent you out the door...fo-reel

Just got rid of my Shark. Bye.
Bought another Sanitare. Blue with the light...sweet!
It is a specialized carpet vacuum and the beater bar makes it the best vacuum there is for Professional use.
Does not go through vacuum belts any more often than any other vacuum...less than a minute to change when necessary...which is rare.

Dyson is good for my house. I have Dyson animal that I bought on Good Friday several years ago, and I have 2 cordless. They go good with my Bissell 😜😬

Clarke combi-vacs were the best vacuums for janitorial. They were better than versa-matics by far. Pro-Teams are about as close to the Combi-vacs as you can get.

I have Pro-Teams at all my facilities. The worst thing about them is clogs. They’re not easily accessible to clogs.
Easy fix. And after the crappy hose tore on it, I replaced the vacuum hose on the Proteam with a 1 1/2” hose which has given Better suction
