My youngest son earned his Eagle Boy Scout Award this month and I am so proud of him. For his project he charted a bus and took WWII and Korean veterans to Washington DC to see the monuments. The trip provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner for them and was at no charge for all. He took their spouses, and friends to help them if needed. He even had a Vet with his son and grandson see the monument's together. Awesome trip and one of the things I am grateful for in 2015,

I have two Eagles myself. This is a picture of the last Eagle project. He painted this on a local elementary school playground.

I have been involved with the Scouting program for over 20 years. I hate camping but do it almost every month. I have spent many a sleepless night in everything from snow caves to tree houses. A property ran scout program helps build boys into responsible men that know how to lead with respect and honor to themselves, their families, to God and to country. I have seen it change the lives of many boys and leaders as they learn to serve others.

I have been involved with 30 or more Eagle projects and that is the coolest one I have ever heard of.
Good for him!

I also have a 33 year old son and a daughter who is 32 so I think I might be a lot older Kellie.
I to am involved in scouting and camp about once a month and summer camp every year. It is a wonderful program for the boys and teaches them so many things. Nice Eagle project. Congrats on your sons Eagle Ranks. I am planning on staying with the scouting after my son moves on because of how much it helps the boys.
