I am hoping that maybe I can get some help from some of you in here. I bought a Blueline Thermal Wave not even a year and a half ago. Pretty much from the start the emissions light kept coming on and screwing everything up like suction and heat. We would have to go down to the machine and turn it to idle and let it run that way for 30 seconds to a minute. I brought it into my supplier which have always been great with me, Sierra Cleaning Systems or Interlink Supply in Reno. They went through it, pulled codes, called Blueline and I just feel like I have been getting the run around on this for a long time now. Well, just a week ago the heat exchanger went on it and I had to get it replaced. They said it was rusted worse than they have seen. This unit was sitting on Blueline's shelf for quite some time they said before I bought it. I also get the oil changed every 100 hours and get it in for a 400 hour every 400 hours as well as we always lube the blower. Since we put the new heat exchanger in we havent had the light come on at all. Blueline said the heat exchanger going had nothing to do with the emissions light but every time the emissions light came on my machine would run like crap and over heat at times as well.
Has anyone had any problems like this. This recent repair cost me over $1700 and I believe the heat exchanger was bad from the start but Blueline sticks to their story that the light has nothing to do with the heat exchanger. We asked them if they would work with us on this at all since they still have no answer as to why my emissions light was coming on for the last year and a half and they wouldnt do anything. I find it hard to believe that someone that does the maintenance to their machines and can prove it and keeps their machines garaged would have a heat exchager go on them within a year and a half. I have a old White Magic and a old Sears Powermatic that have been running great for me and yet my newest and most expensive machine has the major repair. Any input would be appreciated if you have experience with this issue. Thank you.

I would think that.."IF"..it was the HX that was causing the problem...that because of the rust and condition that your saying it was in...... it was probably back lashing and causing everything to over heat and the blower to bog down...
