We are continually training our tech's, the Emergency Response Team WDR guys at least 4-times a year. New guys get the basics individually or multiple if there are that many new guys.
We keep it limited to no more than 4-hours and sometimes just a couple.
We cover broad topics from the need for speedy response, what to say, what to expect upon arrival, proper extraction, applying biocides, paper work, thermal imaging, E-TES setup, TES Trailer, Injectidry setup, dealing with adjusters, problems we may have had or we want to avoid, new equipment it's use, changes in the industry.
We give have note books (Cheaper ones from Office depot) for them with their name and they receive an outline for the meeting and keep notes on it and any handout as well.
Take plenty of breaks, they get antsy, but their is plenty of value in having them.
Occasionally we will have pizza or grill out that day but not always.
