Shawn Forsythe said:Their patent covers the use of a product series named Primacide B, which is essentially a Sodium Hydroxide & water solution produced by salt water hydrolysis. Another component of the hydrolysis (Primacide A) is oxidative (Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) , and therefore used to impart it's qualities in the cleaning process.
The patented nature is the use of this to clean textiles, and certain other mediums, and of course, carpet.
The "magic" is simply the scientific shroud they use to market the process, along with a specialized Vortex unit.

EAU is their parent company, using the hydrolysis products in other avenues of marketing besides carpet cleaning.
GimWhy do so many of these companies have to try to BS the customer.
When your Unique Selling Proposition is a lie and your employees know it how honest do you expect them to be?

I couldn't agree with u more. Educating the client, being professional towards the client and being consistent with your process and communication with client are also key. When a carpet cleaning company has convinced people that only they have this magical water, and that's the most important thing in the process, they WIN.
Their main biz is marketing. They do THAT well.
Combat them and their unbelievable amount of radio advertising with EDUCATION.
TEACH and show your customers why YOU are better than Zerorez (and anyone else in your market).
That's a tall order if YOU don't believe it yourself.
Become better.
You'll start to believe it and you'll be empowered to make your valuable customers believe it!
I'd get a water softener and keep doing what u are doing. This is a far fetched question, so this is the best place to ask.
Could we Empower our water with a very small dilution of Sodium Hydroxide in our rinse? If so, how much would be suggested to mix in at the lowest setting?
But that doesn't answer my question.I'd get a water softener and keep doing what u are doing.
