Is there any known issue with swapping a 20 Hp vanguard on a spitfire 4.0 with a 23 HP. Vanguard?

I have done it. The footprint is the same it fits. I think I had trouble matching exhaust ports with heat exchanger. I bought an exhaust from Briggs and had it welded to the old Heat exchanger Pipe. You will quickly blow head gaskets if the lower heat exchanger has any blockage. I run at reduced RPM 2900 to avoid this as long as possible.
