ETS Floor coatings. .

Has anyone used their VCT coating? They say it lasts 3 years with NO maintenance. . Local guy(that is a friend) is pushing it at $2 a SF, that's great money here:

Never seen it before. A 3 year guarantee is a stretch for any floor coating as you never can know with the abuse the customer will put floor through.


2.00 a square foot if he can get that

He hasn't sold it yet(the ETS), but that is what he is going for.. He did sell over a dollar per sq. for a VCT job he wants me to help him with.. (he has never done it himself)

8400sq. Ft for $9,000(needs to be done in one night (4pm till 8am).. I wish it was my job!

A hard coating that requires no maintenance would be a big red flag.
They usually take more effort with the prep. If it's scratched repairing or removing is difficult.
I've never witnessed a coating like that work.
