Exhaust HX wrap?

Looking for material I can wrap around exhaust HX, like what Aerotech wraps around theirs.

I was thinking some kind of silicone fiberglass hybrid wrap...

Any suggestions?

it has to breath....if not it will be history...........

this is the old way they wrapped them when I first got mine...

it held in to much moister....and rusted it all to hell....

replaced the HX and got a new wrap/blanket from AT....

it allowed it to breath and still hold the heat....

some lower grade stainless does rust......

Yes Ashley they will sell you the heat blanket as I have purchased a couple from them just give ted a call and he will get you fixed up.

I bought everything seperate....so I would think that they will still sell it that way....

it is made of some type of heat shield/vinyl material....the stuff held up pretty good.............

Yes AT will, bought a new one this year. Works great. First one was 6 years old, not one sign of rust.

We carry the wrap as well as the more efficient tubing.

The metal must be stainless or it WILL deteriorate from the heat.

Also the tubing must be put on from an open end.

It will expand over an engine exhaust flange.

Both are more efficient than the blanket.
