As I've mentioned before, we are very active in community Facebook groups and get a lot of referrals this way with out boosting or paying for Facebook ads/exposure. The largest group in our community has close to 12,000 members and has been a huge source of business for us.

Yesterday we went out to do an estimate for someone who found us from the page. We didn't get the job, but she posted this on that page....

We gained a customer in her, and hopefully many others based on her post. This kind of stuff is priceless for small businesses.

What are you doing to develop trust and build value for your clients so they want to tell others about you?

What I do is exactly what you do be honest!

I have some people who call for restretching in my area, a few carpet retailers have a life time guarantee on the stretching.

I'll always recommend they check if they bought the carpet from one of those and see if they can save some money that way.

I've saved a lot of people thousands on stretching, suggestioning that.

It would benefit all of us if we could look at a customer and see all the future cleanings and referrals that would come through them.

If you're stuck, trying to hack out a few extra bucks from every customer, then you're doing it wrong. A lot of customers can and will recognize integrity. Apply integrity to every situation and watch them cheer.

It happens in the background on FB too. We get mentioned a lot. A considerable amount of our new customers find us this way.

Great job Burdick's!

Exactly.

That was my point of my Top Producer rant
There was a "top producer" at SS years ago. Teeth falling out of his face...he would give homeowners a sob story about being broke in order to make a sale.

It was weird, gross, and embarrassing.
