Fake blood

My buddy called me and said his kid squirted some fake blood on the carpet.
He does not know if he still has the package, so I am not sure if I will be able to find out the ingredients.
What's this stuff usually made of?

Last I checked: usually some simple syrup.. corn or otherwise, sometimes a little starch for thicking and good amount of food dye. So bring your favorite prespray and your favorite red remover. (red relief, red vanish.. etc.)

I worked on some in the past that wouldn't comeout with fresh red relief.

And usually I can do the imposible.

Cleaned it last night. Prespay didn't budge it.
Mixed up some red Red Relief, steamed it twice, totally gone, cool beans.
