Now that's funny I don't care where you live. Don't take my word for it. I rebelled against the idea for two years while listening to carpet cleaners say this about it:
"Used it on a wine spill the other day, as a last resort. tried the ..., first w/some dwell time but still ever so faint, ah what the heck I'll try the Fells.
"worked like a charm, go figure."
"Don't leave home without it..."
"I LOVE Fels Naptha."
"I have used the liquid and the bar, both work great, bar is a little more handy for the way I use it, as you clean and something just didnt come up like eyeliner or lipstick you just rub the bar on it a few times and make a slow cleaning pass, now you see it, now you don't!!!"
"Just clean as you normally would and any spots that don't come out..just grab the bar and rub it on it and flush it out real good.....works on probably 95 % of everything it touches"

I think Terry Brevik originally came up with using Fels Naptha.
