With only two months to promote we had a lower than usual turn out but in reality we could not have handled much more at the RMH or at the hotel cleaning event. A nice turn out of young biz team couples who found us on Facebook as well as many other new festers from the Florida area. This was a first to have so many locals attend a show in a given area.
I was super jazzed to have MB die hards Team Saiger, Marty, Bob Pruitt, Russ and Melody, Jackie Z, Beeks, Ricky G, Tom and Missy, Lockhart, Meg and John and I hope I'm not forgetting other loyalists. (Chavez and Stockwell were severely missed)

I heard zero complaints about our educational session and loved what little I was able to attend, ...and really bummed I was yanked out of the DISC session to deal with an emergency.

Billy and Bardwell were very much appreciated for they professionalism and performances and tying things together with style..
Bill really stood up and took the challenge of cleaning a ton of upholstery at both venues. I heard his boy wonder Pruitt was invaluable in getting it done.
Deland, Meg, Roger, the Saigers, Dave Gill, David Braden, Ricky G, thank all of you for helping create a great class time experience for everyone!

As far as how the RMH cleanings went, each home had their challenges that we overcame to the home managers extreme satisfaction. Loose tiles, missing grout, MopNGlow, blown fuses, lack of proper equipment and so forth, were all overcome without too much panic and dealt with professionally.
Attendees got to see what it really takes to be a hard surface pro, and that is the ability to deal with what ever comes at you. Be well equipped, be knowledgeable and be very up front with expectations. Gary Hite video type outcome is very rare. Carpet is a breeze in comparison.

We had almost as many challenges with the hotel tile in the forms of exposed thinset, skim coats with the wrong colors, back stabbing colorseal hucksters and massive foot print residues the following morning. Saiger, Jason from Orbot and I fixed the mess and the hotel staff once again loved us. Cool heads prevailed.

Tool high lights were the Orbot Vibe, The Devastator, Zipper SS, the 10" CRB handle extension, Saiger's truck, the beta TnG wand, and lots and lots of Dry Foam. Unfortunately we didn't have any good surfaces to demo the new Ultralift Melamine pads on but I think most caught on to their potential.
Did I mention that our pre show and live auctions raised a total of $10,260????

I received many compliments from vendors who told me that MF is their favorite event to go to each year. The relaxed atmosphere and constant entertainment along with a real feeling of involvement with the cleaners keeps them coming back.

We are welcome to go back to both venues whenever we want and their appreciation was HUGE!
I do feel the west coast calling though.....

Mark Saiger, Lisa Jordan, Joey Harper, Bill Yeadon.... just over the top awesome effort my friends, you four were so crucial in the development and pulling off of this whole project.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

All the supporting vendors who attended and supported our fundraiser, I'm eternally indebted to your oh so gracious support.

and Legend Brands for the Tees and Jon Don for the hootch!

and Tom Conway for being my right hand man.

It would take longer for you to drive ten miles in the Seattle area then to hop on a flight.

February calls for warmer, drier climates.

Had no idea what to expect. Rode over the Ronald McDonald Houses with Marty, thanks Marty... love that new carpet cleaning van smell  I was at a location across the street.
Had my little hoover vacuum...that vacuum got a workout and was a big hit and my brand new SS Clear head upholstery tool with me.
Bill was working on furniture inside and upstairs that needed a dry foam cleaning...so that left a group of awesome but not real experienced people outside with the bulk of the furniture cleaning.
Looked like a little guidance was called for so I stepped it and we learned to clean upholstery :icon_razz: Good students and hard workers...was an honor to support them.

The highlight for me was the first day and helping at the houses. Felt great to be back at work and especially to think I was helping this organization that is doing so much good for people going through what I would imagine to be ... hard to imagine... but very tough times.

Was great to meet Mikey Board friends and others at the Fest. I see why Sutley likes his Devastator wand so much...I borrowed Chandler Thompson's brand new wand and didn't want to give it back! The Orbot Vibe is now a must own tool as well.

Industry Education was best/most realistic, I have ever attended...sorry I had to leave early on Saturday.
Thank you Mikey for putting on this event!

I really wished I could have stopped by the other RMH locations.
