Picked up this job few years ago.
Another cleaner tried to clean it with a small electric truckmount, no heat and fresh water, warm water at best rinse.
2 golden retrievers, but one of them passed away this year....on the carpet!
White open loop berber, wicking nightmare at times.
Have tried cleaning agents of all types, sometimes luck with some wicking, but sometimes no luck. Even padding after, using airmovers....lot's of vacuuming.
Today we spent about and hour vacuuming with 2 of us and 2 Dyson animals. Got a lot out and just kept going over slow and making sure nothing more could come out!
Today through our Harvard special sauce at it boosted with peroxide, agitated with CRB, and layed the Zipper on it!
Lot's of dry passes, then after it had sat awhile while we cleaned another area, we could come back and go over with more dry passes as it took time to release more moisture and wick that moisture to the top.
Homeowners comments tonight as I called to go pick up airmovers: "You hit a home run today, and tell whoever made that new powerhead (Zipper) that you used today....it was awesome!"
Actually the best we have ever seen this carpet come out....and very relieved!
