i took my younger cousin and buddy out on my portabote a few summers ago. DEC officer watched us put it together and slide into water. once we were out there he called me over and ticketed me for no life jacket on the young guy. he could'a ticketed all of us, i guess i was supposed to feel appreciative...

he could'a told us as we put into the water, i guess he needed to feel like a big shot

I have a friend that's a PA fishcop (retired now)
he told me when he was a rookie his boss told him to get out there and write tickets , cause it was the ONLY way he knew he was actually working and not screwing off ...
