Just too far into this 100+ Million dollar home to reach with the 350' we had on the AT.

With 25ft of hose and a 802 wand it keep up the heat (04) and had just enough suck to do the job well on this very nice nylon loop. 500 psi is too much for lightly soiled carpet. Goes through it too quick

Lost prime once when we ran the fresh empty but a cool little lever built into the unit flushes that real quick.

Very solid, easy to use, easy to fit in the back of the VATs

I need a longer 1 &1/2 wand if this becomes a monthly use item.
Just ideal for upholstery.

A lot of homeowners would much prefer you to use a porty to hit their rugs and furniture.

EDIC makes a good portable. The 500 psi non heated is probably the best version.

With an external modular heater why not add some heat?

When you get this high end, things are never greasy or anything close to filthy.

One small coffee or bug poop spot is considered a huge mess and we need you asap.

Throw a second heater in line, get a 35 foot vac hose, split a 50 foot pressure line into a 35 and a 15 so you can split the heater units cords up, an aw29 is a good wand match, 3 flow to keep the heat and impact consistent. Follow my advice grasshopper and you'll thank me many times.

800 plus feet into the catacombs to extract a coffee spot and 200 feet of clean carpet..
No need to toss more hose on the reel and 25 more cornerguards when I have the Galaxy

yes, the heat comes right off, no tools needed.

While the two 3 stage vacs and pump will run off one cord, don't run the heater as well.

Estate managers give you a really funny look when you ask them where the breaker box is..

Still hate them but it was a sharp looking little dude. Dan's always crying about using a TM for upholstery. I personally love the heat and recovery of the TM. He thinks its over kill, which for some fine fabric it is. We have a really small Prochem Cherokee somewhere for upholstery....not sure where. I may have run over it with my 4x4. ??? :winky:

anything more than 350 feet takes too much effort to keep nice and tidy as it hits the pump/blower cover if not reeled on super straight.

When we need more we bring it.

now don't you feel like a the meddlesome old woman you are for even bringing it up?

Or should I also run around with a portable, 3 dehus, 12 snail fans, 2 cimexes and a concrete mixer just in case?

Still yet, not one person here can fit a TM in an Elevator and I totally agree on the 40 corner hose drags, especially jus for furniture : )
Need an Nice Accessory Cart to go with it thought. 2 guys 1 Trip or 1 guy 2 trips, sometimes theres a show needs put on : )

Did our couch this morning using the Galaxy w Hot fittings turned on and SS tool. Cranked the Ceiling fan up n went to town for an inspection n grab a bite to eat, hour n a half tops.
Couch was Dry when I got home.

Wish I woulda took pics of the recovery! same results the zipper showed! plus I jus dumped the slop out off the back deck in the flowers.

Gotta be 90% or more? For a porty that is flippin impressive.

One a these, a lil aggitation and a man can make it!

I use mine mostly for furniture with the heat cleans great. I should have purchased the 200 psi unit. The weight in the front is not balanced and is not easy on steps, but it could also be my age. I might sell this one and buy a 200 psi. jz.

I installed a helper handle on mine. If your taller than 5-7 the handle is short and to low.. The weight is not even. So I used 1/2 inc steel pipe 2-24 inch and 1- 12 inch with elbows. I raised the handle about 12-16 inches and now have control for up & down stairs.The EDIC works great for cleaning but is very hard to move on stairs with the stock handles. Sorry I don,t know how to do photos. jz.

Call me old fashioned, but I expect a machine (they ain't cheap) to be designed so that it does not need all these modifications. I do love the ingenuity and creativity, however, these issues should have been thought out.
