Flea markets are for scumbags and perverts.

We are going in the morning.

In all seriousness, I don' think that it would draw many people unless you were giving away.

David, I think it would be a waste of time. People who frequent "Flea Markets" don't useally have their carpets cleaned.

Dave,
Not at flea markets, but I've tried things like pumpkin festivals in the fall and I've also set up in my town on days when they have events.
Little bit of work, but nothing to write home about....

flea markets

Flea marktets.. some scary individuals go to flea markets... Has anyone ever tried a Spring/Fall Home Show or Wedding & Floral Show?

Plenty of women... Good opportunity for getting your face out there for building name recognition, handing out business cards, "Specials" flyers, discount coupons to introduce a new products, cleaning methods, new equipment, educate your customer, cleaning/spotter demonstrations, spotter sales, etc.

I see it more as a seed planting opportunity for future business more than an instant money making opportunity. Anyone tried this method of marketing?

Thanks for any feedback.

The flea market goers in the detroit area are likely still living on dirt floors, or if they have carpet it surely costrs less than what I hear most cleaners charge to clean on this elite bb. I would not waste m time unless you are a 5.95 a room cleaner.

never know till you try huh.

i think it also depends on your motivation.if you dont think it will work it wont and if you think it will it just might.

i didnt like the idea but it sure is better than sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring.
