Would you like to have an app/website that would provide a (somewhat) scientific yet Easy Reader certified, explanation of said problem, with a IICRC seal of approval logo, that you or your dim wit techs could easily share with the home owner who could then share with her husband (or lawyer) who otherwise would come home and say WTF IS THIS BIG YELLOW STAIN DOING IN FRONT OF MY LAZYBOY, it wasn't there this morning!?

I suffer from K.R.A.F.T.

Please tell me how to download it to my iPad.

Would one need to be a CURRENT, PAID UP, member of the IICRC to download this app;?? 🤔

at best I think it would be a slightly useful novelty

much like the IICRC

you're talking about a disclaimer, which most companys have in one way or another

any decent tech should be having this discussion on the walk through, what is said beforehand is information, what is given after are excuses

as the IICRC doesn't do any marketing to the public, why would a member of the public see it as being relevant?

IICRC standards are imo relevant

certification to those standards is relevant

where they fail, is not teaching the practical application of the standards

and its a practical trade, not theoretical

much like the IICRC, you aussies must have got jilted, I get more hate mail from down under for my involvement than I do from Alabama.

any decent tech should be having this discussion on the walk through, what is said beforehand is information, what is given after are excuses, fantasy land.

I’ve had my own info sheets about these and a numbers of other subjects giving an explanation that I give to the customers who may have some of these problems. The articles are from a number of sources such as the Carpet and Rug Institute or Cleanfax articles. It’s best not to write these yourself so the info sounds official or scientific rather than sound like an excuse if you write them yourself. Always have them available on the truck.

Exactly!
and coming from a traceable authoritative source that has a (somewhat) consumer friendly website the explanation sheet/download/email that would include the reason and variables behind the problem along with an illustration or two and possibly a reference to the standards, would be all the more valuable to mumblers, stumblers, Larry Lunchpail techs, ESLs and most likely your phone staff...

"Tell me what to do about my fool wife goin' and gettin' hersef pregnant again?"

(Yeah I had that question recently)

"Why do they call them male and female quick connects?"

(Very frequently asked question)

OK, I will come up with some serious ones for you. Do you want them posted here, or emailed to you?

Sorry, at times you’re cryptic, and at others you put matches in our toes.

But I will give you a list after some reflection
