Never mind it's a two part each part for its own set of stains?

It is actually a one part...and I just noticed my web people didn't have up an updated SDS and Tech sheet....

I have an email into Harvard to get me the updated info so I can get that changed...

But it is a one part....sorry for the mix up there....

You should make a video about the mix up.

I hope it smells better than the Prochem one step. I tried some of that and it smelled like fresh puke. Making me gag as I spray it. I went back to my 2 part stuff.

An oxidizer that works on red #40?

some sports drinks, cough syrup, but without #40 I am sure....
An oxidizer that works on red #40?

still a struggle....

Good to point out here...and Red #40 sometimes in products that don't show the color red as well.

Foods that aren’t red or orange can still include Red 40. You can find it, and other AFCs, in cheeses, peanut butter crackers, salad dressings, and marshmallows.

FDA regulations mean that Red 40 must be listed on labels as "FD&C Red No. 40" or "Red 40." However, manufacturers don’t have to specify how much is in their product. In the European Union, warning labels are required on most dyed foods, which has caused a major downturn in their use.

Red 40 goes by the following names:

  • Red 40
  • Red No. 40
  • FD & C Red No. 40
  • FD and C Red No. 40
  • Allura Red
  • Allura Red AC
  • C. I. 16035
  • C.I. Food Red 17

I use a 2 part oxidizer called vanish. I buy it by the gallon. Good stuff. As for a reducer, I haven't found one I really like. I use a lot of red 1.

Vanish I believe was the original 2 part stain remover. I used to use it all the time. I use the 2 part eliminate now, (same thing). I buy it by the gallon and refill the small twin chambered bottle or mix it 50/50 in a handheld pump up. Works like magic on most organic colored stains. I usually pretreat stains before I start and then treat anything left over. May take up to 4 hours to work completely. On a difficult stain, I explain that to a customer and usually follow up the next day. 95% of the time, the stain has disappeared.

Hmm looks interesting. I generally use a Sodium Percarbonate source these days as the material is stable and doesn't go off until mixed with water. And the Sodium Carbonate being high pH opens dye sites and assists with dye oxidation.

For reduction removals I generally use a product called Coffee Break which contains Oxialic Acid at 2% and Hydrochloric Acid at 1%. It's a self exciting reducer and acid spotter in 1. The Hydrochloric acid catalyses the activity of the Oxailic Acid which is a mild reducing agent.

When more reactivity is need I mix powdered Sodium Metabisulfite in a spray bottle.
