Your "safe, clean and productive as possible" seems incredibly general re: coronavirus protection.
I would need to evaluate your specific protocols.
Do your crew wear facemarks, hats to cover their hair, disposable garments changed between jobs/residences, disposable gloves and shoe covers. (Our health care workers need this more.) Do you ensure that no employee is coming to work sick - are you offering paid sick leave?
Have your employees been responsibly sheltering in place since the beginning of the county order to minimize exposure ?
Are you wearing masks and physical distancing from each other when in the office or working together?
Are you carefully screening potential clients to ensure no one in the home is or has been sick,
is in quarantine from potential exposure, has traveled within the last 3 weeks or has someone new come into their home from somewhere that hasn’t been locked down...
I went in to sequestration on Mar 14. I know my home is a safety zone.
I’m over 70 and must keep it that way. I’m delaying termite treatment, dermatologist visit for potential skin cancer, lab tests. . . I know this is incredibly hard on local businesses, including mine, which has changed significantly.
I wouldn’t consider allowing anyone in without direct answers to the specific safety protocols you’re having workers take. Carpet cleaning isn’t essential enough to take a risk without knowing how actually informed and rigorous your business is.
I hope this feedback is useful.
Please stay well through this community crisis.
