I am in my first winter in the industry and have questions about freeze thaw stability for my cleaning chem product stockpile.

First, what makes a product freeze thaw stable? What happens if a freeze thaw unstable product freezes and thaws repeatedly?

It is better not to let anything freeze, but usually floor finishes, fluorochemical protectors, and live bacterial culture enzyme products are those most affected by freezing.

When in doubt, consult your supplier of course.

where do you store it?
stuff in the van won't freeze...if it does, you'll have bigger problems than frozen juice.

if an attached garage, don't store it on the floor next to the garage door
Put your storage self against an interior wall and it's highly unlikely it will freeze.

I keep bottled water in my attached garage and it's never froze.
(as well as my POS porty)
and I'm SURE my winters are much colder for longer than Lindon Tx
