Stopped working at end of job the other day. Steps I've taken...

1. Tested wires going to pump - Juice verified.

2. Hooked pump to van battery - No action.

What usually fails on these?

One interesting note. Interlink warantees it for a year while FloJet warantees for two. WTF is up with that?

I wondered. Seems like the weakest link. Man, I hate having to hook up to Mrs. Piffleton's water supply.

take the flow switch off and see if something is stuck in it..If you are hooking up to everyones home put a washer screen on your hose to filter the dirt..or add an inlet strainer

Most of the time it is the pressure switch that goes bad. Unless they are hooked up to some kind of tank/bladder system I don't really believe they are designed to take the constant hammering on/off abuse of a truck mount application.

I changed mine to a pump with a built in internal bypass after replacing 3 of them.

Dirk;

Jim is right to suspect the pressure switch.

You can temporarily wire directly to the motor to see if the pump is still working.

We have had better luck with ShurFlo pumps for that application.

I think we stock the pressure switches for the FloJet.

I wondered about running it without a bladder, but after looking at some FloJet diagrams, it seemed fine. They show applications where the pump would get hammered just as bad.

I always kept a spare 12 volt pump in the truck just in case.

Was an easy 15 minute change out.

Pressure switch showed up in mail today. Swapped it out and it's as good as new. Easy fix. Hopefully, FloJet will send a replacement.
