Butler made some big calls on Friday.

Hoping we get something going quicker here this week.

Or... I will just order a New Butler in New GM!

Right now I still really think it is the motor causing problems and don't think my dealership is really chcking
it out.

So wanted to start ripping the transmission and motor out this weekend and get to the heart of this problem (tear her heart out!)

There are moments when I go to the dealership I just want to say "move out of the way and hand me that wrench"

They move so damn slow and play grab a$$ more in that shop

how many units does Butler sell a year?
anyone have an idea or close guesstimate?

I fear it's not enough to have much clout to lean on a giant like GM.

I feel bad for Mark AND Butler
Cause I think Butler may be the one ultimately holding the bag on this one
even if GM replaces the van, will they reimburse Butler for reinstall ?
What about the wrap and disco lights ??

Mark's already taken a HUGE hit in lost revenue .
I suspect GM will be quite resistant in covering that, Butler's reinstall and Mark's wrap and disco lights

My Spidy senses ain't real optimistic on this one :(

Couldn't imagine how much this would have impacted you during any other season

Good luck man, GMC dealer here jerked me around when I had a manifold leak 6 months into my new Butler back in 2006

Charged me $250 cause of " all the added time " due to the pod cables

It must be incredibly frustrating when you buy new to eliminate downtime only to experience this

that is what has me worried the most....

We are making payments on a unit we cannot really safely use right now...and so the 2015 is paying for all our families and paying for the Turd....

And the extra fee that some want to charge for extras from the Butler unit is a lot of times BS....

Past couple of times I go right into the shop and make the additional fixes if needed!

The pump over heating at the Experience was well documented...

I posted pictures of the Kohler 20 horsepower back case open when we replaced it to fix the leak...

I told saiger this morning about how I found the way around the inherent heat exchanger overheating protection feature.

Would you like me to post a picture of the scratch in the blue paint on the lower left corner below the heat exchanger?

Same owners of the dealerships around here. But also trying to protect the current transmission from more damage if they attempt to just patch it... Again after they figure out it is probably the motor taking out the transmission...

It's a pain in my rear sometimes living in the boonies...

Hoping for better news... Tomorrow... Hoping.....

I went to Phoenix MF to see other TM's in action.
Mark's Butler issues has made me postpone a purchase.
Maybe throwing money at older equipment isn't so bad. at least I don't have a loan payment and higher insurance cost.
I appreciate my 2004 Vortex and 2008 Power clean DXT more now.

sorry to hear you are having challenges Mark-- but life is full of pecks and valleys.
