Hello, I have a Genesis ZXT Powerclean that has a problem with the rpms going up and down. Truck mount will be on, It will be idled and then rpms start to pulsate between 1500 to 2000. I am currently starting to dig into it and trying to see what I can find. Although, I do not have much experience with this system. Has anyone else ran into this issue? Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated.

Does it have a governor on it? The old Nissan's used to have a governor that need an ounce of oil periodically. If never oiled it would do similar to what you're describing.

Where's RW when you need him?

I heard Hiltz bought his Power Clean for a song..

I personally would take a can of carb clean and start giving small squirts around the intake manifold.. It sounds like a vacuum leak to me as well but idk that machine.. The guys I remember who had those machines don't frequent the board as much.. Ash Mckendree, PowerClean Frank Perez, Doug Cox, Robert Hodge?!?

So a little birdie said:

My first guess on the issue would be the potentiometer (Speed Control). Pass it on.

BTW- I believe I have. Potentiometer if needed. Let me know.
