Give him credit for learning one thing very quickly: To be a guru, you just have to get a certain amount of people to believe you know more than they do, then give yourself a good background story and nickname and market your limited skills like crazy. Enough people will be fooled for you to make a good living. (Take as many courses as you can to quickly fill the gaps in your story.)

The only script not followed is the one in which said guru will pop up on industry BBs from time to time trying to appear honestly helpful.
