Serioulsy about every 2 years or if they break or one side is destroyed from cheap apartment tack strips

We barely get a year. Not tack strip damage, just wear.

Steve if your buying Green Glides the person you by them from should be warranting/discounting them if your not getting a year. I have a sliding scale if you don't get at least 18 months and will replace them if through no fault of your own you don't get a year.

I usually change mine out long before it is actually worn out.
It just makes the pushing easier.

We used to replace them when the ends were completely gone. You had to be careful or they could get a sharp piece and snag a Berber. Nothing left at all. no where near a year but it depends on how much you clean.
We are already on our second set on the zipper jr. We used it until you couldn't adjust anymore for height and we had to pull it out. That's 2 sides gone.
