This drug is very safe and proven to help those with aching joints. I know several runners who use it and some carpet cleaners. It does wonders for aching shoulders elbows and knees.

I have been taking it daily for over two years and it removed my aching almost 100% with in the first month of taking it. It's not some weird foo-foo health food supplement and is available at any drug store including WallyWorld.

I tried it for a couple months

Glucosmine and some other added stuff.
Condriotan(?)

It didn't do much for my shoulders
Made my man boobs  bigger than they already are, is all it did for me

I get some temporary relief from cortisone shots twice a year.
However it only works on one shoulder and not the other
Cortisone injections give about 1 month of relief on my right shoulder (the worst one)
but it does nothing for my left shoulder that isn't as bad.
Possibly cause my left is more tendon related and my right in deep on bone/joint?

Masso therapy helped my left the most.

acupuncture helped both, unfortunately the relief only lasted me a couple a days and i can't afford AP treatments 3 times a week

Glucosamine works very good for my knees,I have been taking the stuff for about 12 years now,for me it works almost like a pain killer, some times I will run out and quit taking it for a week or so and then the pain comes back so I go get more and take it and within a day or two the pain is gone again, this last time I went about a month before the pain came back and then I had to go get more.
It is very effective on getting rid of sore joints on dogs also,it is actually in alot of dog foods.
One of the problems I have heard is that it takes a little while to absorb into peoples joints, sometimes like up to all most a month.
Some people I have talked to say the pills will not work for them and they take the liquid,it absorbs alot quicker.
There is a Glucosamine hydrochloride and a Glucosamine sulfide or sulfate I forget which it is,but any ways I think the hydrochloride is supposed be the better one,if your going to try it do a search on different types there are other things like MSM in it and other things for swelling.
For me this stuff works very well,I am sure it will be out lawed pretty soon.

It never helped me and it gave my wife restless leg syndrome. Read an article about it doing that and the wife stopped taking it. RLS went away immediately. I think it only helps with certain joint problems.

I got a treatment for ya Meat, stop shooting all those big bore hand guns you have, and while your at it, you better stop casting that fly rod you have to catch those steelies :p That will take the strain off your shoulders straight away.

Nah, sounds boring. Stick with the cortisone shots!

It's gotten worse, Jim.

I might be in a band now.
Tried out last week and they invited back this week.

SOOOOO....I blew the dust off my buckets, loaded a pocket full of ibuprofen and starting pounding the cans all week trying to learn their songs

Meat,

Is that a pair of Sony speakers?

Nah, Jim, i don't know what they are, but they're not Sony.
They're ancient and i actually acquired them for free.
I don't know who made them, but they sound pretty good, and "seem" to be good quality.
I'm "guessing" they were top of the line in the '60s when new.
I think they're rated for 100 watts each.

I have another pair just like them stacked on the other side of the drums

Some elderly lady gave them to me years ago just to get them out of her basement

Sorry to keep goin off topic, but it came to me...Zenith speakers, there is a switch on the bottom of the ported area to boost the highs? Good sounding speaker in the day, you could match them up with a stereo console called the "Wedge". Just had a 70's flashback..Scary.

YES!!!
That's them!
I just looked.
Allegro 3000 by Zenith.
I missed the max wattage.
They're 50 wt RMS max

You must be an audiophile, Jim

do you know anything about the POS Onkyo receiver?
It's 200 250(?) watt.
One side blew and i only get volume on the right side.
The left side only puts out a tiny bit of staticy sound.

Exact same thing happened to a friend's Onkyo

I was told they were they built like a tank

When I was a teenager I spent a lot of time researching and tinkering with audio. Not so much anymore.

Can relate to the scratchy Onkyo tho. Yes the old ones are built like tanks, I think its all the copper windings in the transformers. Not sure how economical they are to repair. For several years I used a garage sale Sansui amp and crap components. When I purchased my Cleanco the disty gave me a gift certificate that we transferred to a high end audio shop. Finally got a decent amp and pair of speakers.
